What is Careers E-coach?
The Careers E-coach is designed to guide you through the different stages in the job hunting process. Each of the 4 modules gives an overview of respective process and offers advice on the techniques to succeed. The modules are:
 
Career Planning - comprises of 2 sections, “U-life Planning” and  “Career Planning”.  The former lists out the must-have items and suggests a to-do list for each year of your university life; while the latter demonstrates the 5 steps of self-exploration exercise as listed in our Career Planning Handbook;
 
Résumé Writing - explains the do’s & don’ts of an application, the techniques in presenting your credentials, and guidelines on the writing format of résumé designated for different industries and career purpose;
 
Covering Letter Writing - offers handy tips and a snapshot of the proper structure of a cover letter; and
 
Interview Skills - reveals the types of interview questions that are commonly asked in an interview, the basic interview techniques, as well as showcases the typical rundown of an assessment centre.
 
My Status - records your learning progress. This helps you take charge of your own learning pace, and also select topics that are relevant to your development needs through the job hunting process.
