STEM Internship Scheme

 

Launched by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) in 2020, the STEM Internship Scheme aims to encourage STEM students to gain I&T-related work experience during their studies and to foster their interest in pursuing a career in the industry after graduation.

 

The STEM Internship Scheme 2026 Winter Intake and 2^nd Term Intake are now open for applications.  

The applicaiton deadline for Employers' Applications is 25 November 2026 (Wed). (Since the hiring timeline may vary for different employers, students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible)

 

As announced by the ITC, please note that the allowance of the Scheme for 2026-27 will be increased to $11,790 per month (or $393 per day, for the purpose of calculating the allowance under the Scheme, one month has 30 days) with effect from 1 April 2026.
